Every year we invite the community to participate in volunteering events in honor of those who were killed in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting on October 27, 2018.

Voting Registration

 In honor of Mel Wax, who cared deeply about civic engagement, consider taking part in nonpartisan efforts to get out the vote this autumn. Local organizations, such as the League of Women Voters or the Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) are great inroads to volunteering throughout the year.

Love like the Boys

David and Cecil Rosenthal, inseparable brothers known for their love for life, were among those taken too soon during the shooting. Family and friends referred to David and Cecil as ‘the boys’ because of their innocent, kind-hearted nature.
