Opening Reception and Unveiling: Healing with Nature Mosaic Mural Program

Join us for the opening reception of the Healing with Nature Mosaic Mural: Open and Free to Everyone!
June 2nd, 2:15pm-4pm at the Frick Environmental Center

For the last six weeks, 30+ participants have come together in the embrace of the natural world of the Frick Environmental Center to engage in therapeutic community around grief and loss. The program, conceived and directed by Susan Spangler and Ted Cmarada, invited the creative expression of participants and culminated in a mosaic mural facilitated by artist Laura Jean McLaughlin. The mural will be unveiled to the public at the opening and will temporarily remain at the Frick Environmental Center as a place of contemplative refuge for all who grieve.

There will be live music and light refreshments. Speakers and the unveiling will begin at 2:30pm.
