Torah Study is part of the second year commemoration honoring the lives lost and the people affected by the attack on three Pittsburgh synagogues – Congregation Dor Hadash, New Light Congregation, and Tree of Life * Or L’Simcha Congregation – on October 27, 2018 (18 Cheshvan 5779).

Rabbi Leon A. Morris is President of the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. A native of Connellsville, PA, Leon was the founding director of the Skirball Center for Adult Jewish Learning at Temple Emanu-El in Manhattan (now the Streicker Center) and was the rabbi of Temple Adas Israel in Sag Harbor, NY. He and his family made aliyah to Israel in 2014.

He has gone on to become one of America’s leading rabbis, who teaches rabbis from coast to coast and whose prayers appear in the prayerbooks of the Conservative and Reform movements in America and overseas.

All sessions will take place on the Zoom platform and will each be 50 minutes in length.  There will be up to two simultaneous sessions offered at each time slot.

Pre-registration for specific sessions is required.  You will be sent a zoom link for each session you register for, 24 hours prior to the session.
